Product detailed description
The Timer Box III line uses higher-quality components than the previous lines. It can switch up to twelve 600W ballasts and HID lamps. The digital timer switch has a socket for a heater, which is off when the lights are on. Turning the heater on only when the HID lights are turned off keeps the temperature in the grow tent stable - HID lamps themselves emit heat - and conserves energy. The device has a 2.5mm² thick power cable to prevent overheating.
The timer switch is programmable to 24h cycles in 15min segments. The timer has a backup battery, which can keep it running for 150h. We recommend charging the battery at least once a year. The battery has a 14month warranty.
The Timer Box III 12x600W has a protective cover rated IP54 - it's protected against dust and splashing water. The higher IP rating and water protection make the timer more resistant to the harsh, humid environment inside grow tents and rooms. It has a safety breaker, which turns the power circuits on or off.
